Chris D'Angelo is a Lighting Designer based New York City. Originally from Upstate, he has been working in the NYC area for nearly ten years primarily in theater, as occasionally events. Chris brings an avid passion for story-telling as a whole, and approaches each piece with an equally analytical and emotional eye. His hope is to create work rooted in honesty and enjoyment, affecting audiences on an emotional level while simultaneously providing entertainment.
When not working on theater, he enjoys playing music either solo, or with a group, on either keys or percussion. (Consequently, working on musicals is a special treat.) He has also developed a healthy set of skills in the kitchen and enjoys the time there. And if nothing else, Chris is happy to while away the hours over drinks and get lost in conversation with interesting people.
